The Chevalier de la Garenne, returning from his Grand Tour, presents the curiosities brought back from his adventures, from Switzerland to Portugal to board a boat which turned out to be a slave ship, passing the Cape of Good Hope, India, Japan, return with a Dutch merchant via Macao and Indonesia, he passed two years with the Bey of Constantinople, before finally returning to Switzerland.
The objects presented, originals and copies ranging from prehistory to the modern era, can almost all be handled by the public, allowing them to realize the real weight of a sword, to understand the geography and trade at different periods of our history by comparing the similarities between different cultures.
